The State of Alabama-vs-Hunter depicts the biblical story of the Joseph anointing, “A Coat of Many Colors.” With fighting the good fight of faith over the prophetic words spoken to him, Prophet Calvin Hunter has endured many obstacles and has suffered persecution because of his God ordained calling. However, he remains firm in faith and unshakable on what God has revealed to him and has confirmed through the mouths of the prophets such as Leroy Jenkins, Don Stewart, Bishop Jordan, and the prophecy by Dr. Munday Smith ‘Giving Honor to Where Honor is due.’ Apostle Prophet Calvin Hunter has proven to be a man after God’s own heart that shall endure and overcome till the end.
Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
1st Prophetic Dream:
It all began 11 years ago (1998), God gave me a vision about boxing. After I had made a statement to The Andalusia Star News, “They hit me with a low blow, but I hit back harder in the end, “I had a prophetic dream. In the dream I was a boxer in the ring with a heavyweight champion. He was a fat-white gentlemen and the crowd of whites and blacks were all gathered. I could tell by the expression of the audience’s face that they were disappointed by the unjust and unfairness of the fight, but I was very skillful in how I moved around in the ring. During the whole round my opponent just ran and dodged me when I came at him so I knew within myself that I had won, but became frustrated when I could not knock him out. Finally the bell ranged and the match ended. While standing waiting for the decision of the judges, the hand of my opponent was raised. I could not believe it, the crowd was in awe at the judge’s decision, but seeing the reaction of the people, the referee slowly descended my opponent’s hand and whispered in my ear as he raised mine, “I am going to strip you, but you are going to win.”
During that time, I was living in the city of Andalusia, Alabama. God had spoken and wanted me to have a tent revival there in the area. While in revival, the city experienced major growth. I myself estimated spending over twenty thousand dollars alone in hotel expenses. People came miles around to attend this miraculous event. God told me that he wanted to bless and unite the city of Opp and Andalusia together as one government. My ministry would have brought more businesses and industries to that area. However, local churches literally became empty because people were witnessing and experiencing real miracles happening in their lives under my tent. Some of the local church leaders became intimidated and fearful of losing money. They were not concerned about the fact people were receiving real miracles and healings. They saw the people as a money market, so local officers and church leaders assembled together privately and elected officials that plotted and fought against me to try and stop my ministry.
Matthew 10:17-18 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
Shortly afterwards, the investigator, well known as the deacon of First Baptist Church in Andalusia, came to my home and arrested me. I was charged with committing a sexual offense that claimed to have happened several months prior to the victim filing the complaint. The investigator called around and questioned several of my church and family members concerning my personal life and my ministry. He tried to make the matter seem as though I was some Jim Jones occult. The D.A. even presented the manual I wrote, The School Of The Prophets, to the judge to use against me claiming it encourage false teachings, but the judge appointed to hear the case at the time argued that the content of the manual was scriptural-based and there wasn’t anything in it misleading; therefore, they could not violate my right to freedom of religion and dropped the case. About a year later, the case came up again and I found out during the hearing that the D.A.’s assistant that was working with the D.A. that filed my case was elected as the judge to hear it. However, we spent four long days in court. During those days, we talked about my ministry and my religious beliefs. I was confused, was my ministry on trial or are we here to talk about the alleged allegations made against me. The woman I supposedly offended was only put on the stand for 30 minutes. She testified that I had touched her and made her unrobed herself. They also brought in another woman who testified against me and stated that she was impregnated, but the baby had died. I willingly gave my blood to prove the allegation was a lie and the results of that paternity test never showed up in court, nor did my attorney whom I felt working against me defended the attacks towards me concerning racial and religious beliefs. During the trail they questioned whether prophets are real. Are healings and miracles real? They even questioned and put God’s vision, The School Of The Prophet’s manual, that I wrote on trial.
Finally, one of the jury members had heard enough and wanted to have no part in the case so they left off the jury. Therefore, I was convicted with eleven members on the jury. As you can see my rights were violated. I was sentenced to 7 years in prison; I served 29 months at Staton Correctional Facility and was released afterwards. When I arrived at Kilby Correctional Facility, they tried to have my time increased to 36 months by alleging that the victim was underage, but it turned out to be a false allegation and that matter was dropped. Even a few months before my release date, a former staff member that I ask to leave my ministry because I found out she was working against me, tried to get my time extended longer by alleging that I was had messed with a child underage. They did an investigation and that too was dropped because they found out it was not true. But before leaving that courtroom, I prophesied and told them that God was going to judge them in three days (In God’s time, three days meant 3 years or more) because of their lies and evil plots against me. The judge, the D.A., and other officers in the courtroom just mocked and laughed. They challenged the wisdom of God working mightily in me, but judgment has been delayed, not denied. In
1 Chronicles 16:22, God says, touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Matthew 10:19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall say.
As the Prophet of God, I have to warn them that judgment is pending.
Matthew 10:12-15 And when ye come into a house, salute it.
And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
And whosoever shall not receive you, hear your words, when ye depart out that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment.
Since the trail, several warnings have occurred in the city of Andalusia. Major businesses like the Coca- Cola plant has closed. There have been several tornadoes reports destroying homes and businesses in that city. The TV broadcast news showed an actual footage of a tornado identified at ground zero behind the Andalusia courthouse in 2007. That is a sign of God’s judgment. They must repent and vindicate me or they will experience more severe calamity. God spoke to me about 3 day death. Here is how pending judgment works: remember Ahab and Jezebel (represents government corruption) conspired to have an innocent man stoned to death to steal and rob him of his property. They used human government laws to bring false charges against Naboth, but God sees all evil and sent his prophet Elijah to give the word of the Lord.
1 King 21:17-23 And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,
Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, which is in Samaria: behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth, whither he is gone down to possess it.
And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine.
And Ahab said to Elijah, Hast thou found me, O mine enemy? And he answered, I have found thee: because thou hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of the LORD.
Behold, I will bring evil upon thee, and will take away thy posterity, and will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel,
And will make thine house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the provocation wherewith thou hast provoked me to anger, and made Israel to sin.
And of Jezebel also spake the LORD, saying, The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.
If you read on you will find that Ahab and Jezebel died exactly according to the prophecy spoken by God through the mouth of the prophet Elijah.
I EOS (End of Sentenced) in August of 2003. Since my release, I've received several awards out of Washington D.C.. Former President George Bush gave me the 2005 National Leadership Award recognizing my leadership for promoting a professional business in ministry. In 2007, I was invited to the President's Dinner in Washington D.C. which I did attend and was seated with all the senators.
Since then I have had constant battles with the adversary because of my calling and destiny in God. During my residency and incarceration in Elmore County, I was racially and religiously discriminated, harassed, suffered cruel and unusual punishment, and slandered by the jail administration because of my beliefs. Also, I sought for restoration of my rights and clemency of my name to the Board of Pardons and Parole and to the Governor of the State of Alabama, Bill Riley, at the time in which I sent by letters prophesying and giving them the word of the Lord concerning my situation. They have denied my request and refuse to obey the word that God sent through me his prophet. The State of Alabama must restore and clear my name to lift the curse and judgment pending against them. Warning always comes before destruction. In Genesis 20:6, the political leader had touched something that belonged to the prophet. His whole family was cursed because it was a violation to God and to the prophet even though he was not aware that he had violated him. God told the political leader that if he repented and restored what belonged to him, the prophet would pray for him and the curse would be lifted and his family would be restored, but if not, he and his whole generation would surely perish. Though I‘ve had many setbacks, God said I shall make a glorious comeback. God’s purpose for my life shall prevail and surely come to pass as He has purpose.
